Some people think that you can master the language only if you study it abroad, in the native speaking environment

Nowadays there is an opinion that you can improve your language skills only by studying it abroad. However, some people claim that you can master it if you study diligently even by yourself in your country.

In my opinion, if a person has a goal to achieve something, he will put enough efforts to turn his daydreams into reality. This also works with languages. Firstly, there is a huge variety of books of any language you want. Everything is explained on a good level. Secondly, there are a lot of different courses, language schools which can help you to improve and master your skills.

On the other hand, some people claim that you can master your language only by studying it abroad. It helps you to communicate with native speakers and understand how language works in real life. Furthermore, studying language abroad can help you to avoid having an accent, making mistakes in pronunciation.

I cannot agree with opponent point of view. Nowadays there are a lot of applications where you can meet people from all over the world, you can talk with them without leaving the room. You will practice language by talking with people. Also, some applications can record your voice and check if you pronounce a word correctly.

To sum up, people have a lot of opportunities to study languages and if they put enough efforts they can master the language without leaving their home.
