As part of my project on what helps young Zetlanders to improve their grades in final school years, I have found a table containing some relevant results of a survey that I am going to comment on.
According to the data, the most popular response to the question “ What helped you to improve your grades in final school years?” is “Supplementary classes” (47%). It can also be seen that the least favored option is “Transfer to another school “chosen by 6% of the surveyed.
Looking more closely at the table, one can note that the figure for the option “Self study” is 21% higher than the figure for “Transfer to another school “. This fact is explicable given that self study is more convenient because only you control your time management while transfer to another school can be stressful for students.
It is worth mentioning that the there are some problems that may arise with a senior student. One of them is that senior can be burned out by their studies. However, there is a possible solution to this problem. Senior should take a break several times a day. Also, not to be addicted to studies senior should find a hobby that helps to relax.
In conclusion, I believe that self study is essential for teenagers. I thinks so because it helps to be responsible and independent. Also, such skills can be useful in the future.
The survey question: Why have you chosen to major in technial studies?
