I would like to talk about the book “The Invisible Man” by Herbert Wells.
The action takes place early in February in the city of Iping (United Kingdom), the stranger first arrives in the inn Coarch and Horses.
The main characters are: the invisible man whose real name is Griffin, Mr. and Mrs. Hall, the owners of the Coarch and Horses Inn, where Griffin stays,
Dr. Kemp, a scientist who studied at the university with the invisible man.
Griffin is a genius scientist-physicist, he became invisible as a result of the experiment.
esides, he is an egoist, vicious and cruel and impatient. He often shouts imprecations and becomes furious. Griffin has so remarkable an appearance, namely, ghastly bandaged face, pint fake nose, bushy side-whiskers. I suppose that he is crazy and he loves only himself.
The book tells about the adventure and life of the invisible man. Griffin becomes invisible and faces with the difficulties of such a lifestyle. He comes to the city of Iping and settles in the inn Coarch and Horses. The invisible man quarrels with the citizens and his mystery becomes known to them. The guest causes problems such as the burglary at the vicarage, theatens and fights with citizens, takes Mr. Marvel hostage etc. People stag a hunt for the invisible man, they are afraid of him. Griffin’s next shelter is Dr. Kemp’s house. Dr. Kemp is an old friend of Griffin_ from the university, the invisible man tells him his story and city terror plan to the doctor. The doctor informs about the location of the invisible man and kills an unseen man. He becomes visible when he is killed. He is almost an albino, six feet high, and broad, with a pink and white face and red eyes.
I suppose that the main idea of the book is not to use the knowledge given to you to the detriment of people. And to take the responsibility for your actions.
My favorite episodes are at the house in Great Portland Street and in Oxford Street because Griffin talks about turning into an invisible person and living in an unseen body.
The author of the book is Herbert George Wells. The author was born in 1866 and died in 1946 in Great
ritain. He published “The Time Machine” in 1895 and “The War of the Worlds” in 1898. The book “The Time Machine” tells about a journey into the world of the future, inhabited by two types of creatures that a person has turned into. The book “The War of the Worlds” describes the invasion of aliens from Mars to Earth.
I like the book because it is intriguing and tells a story about an interesting person. I read the book with pleasure and interest.
