The Internet revolutionized communication (Сочинения ЕГЭ английский язык)

It is hard to deny that the Internet plays an inalienable role in every person’s life. Elaborating on this topic, some people are firmly convinced that the World Wide Web started revolution in communication, whereas others hold the opposing opinion. In this essay I am going to make an attempt to look upon this issue.

In my opinion, the Internet definitely changed the communication. There are several reasons for that. Firstly, the communication accelerated. If few decades ago people had to wait for weeks to get or send mail than now it takes seconds. Secondly, communication devalued as a consequence of acceleration. Nowadays anyone can send and get a message in a moment, that is why people do not value them anymore.

Before a person would wait for a letter with awe and now he or she takes it for granted.

However, there are still some people who think that the communication did not change since the invention of the Internet. The fact is that the manner of conversation has not changed.

Personally, I appreciate the opposite opinion, though I cannot agree with it. The reason is that the Internet definitely influenced the manner of our speech. As there are billions of users in the World Wide Web, people exchange new words from different languages and they come to their mother tongues which means that now a person uses many borrowed words.

In conclusion, I would like to say that I still respect the opposing opinion. However, I strongly believe that the Internet revolutionized the way people communicate.
