Some people think that chasing fashion tendencies is a useless occupation while others are sure fashion is worth it. In my opinion, being in fashion is important in modern society. Firstly, fashion clothes makes people attractive and confident. These people know they look cool so they feel self-satisfaction and comfortable in any situation. Secondly, fashion is often used to make a positive impression. Many people form opinions about others basing on their clothes. Hence, if somebody wants to look well, fashion items can help do it. Nevertheless, there are those who believe chasing trends takes much time and money as fashion is changeable and some brands are really expensive. They think fashion makes people be like many others and lose their individuality. I cannot agree with this statement. Following fashion does not mean buying garments of famous luxury brands. It means buying garments of modern samples and it is possible to find these things at reasonable prices, it does not take much time. Moreover, almost all shops try to sell clothes and shoes of latest trends. That's why it seems that people wear the same types of clothes.
