No One Owns Journalism (Сочинения ЕГЭ английский язык)In this essay, I would like to reflect on the question of whether journalism as an activity can belong to someone or something. It would seem, how is the question worth it? Journalism belongs to journalists, and that's it. Аnd when the conversation turns to bloggers or amateur journalists, we brush them off. But for this topic, it's important to first understand how we view journalism. After all, this is not only a profession, but also a lifestyle, and socially useful activities, and even a vocation — something, that people call "this is my calling". If we are talking about journalism as a profession, then of course journalism should belong to journalists. Just as we say - medicine belongs to doctors, and let my child be treated only by a doctor, and not by a person who watched videos on the Internet and now also wants to perform complex operations. We can simplify the task and say: "A profession is a business, which means journalism is the media". But if so, can the media have sole ownership of the information and the right to deliver it? Of course not, because this is equivalent to the fact that art galleries own pictures. But this is a public domain — and information, and art! The first journalists were not journalists, but writers, printers, suffragettes, policemen and many others. That were not indifferent people, who had something to say. As the media, by taking away the right to vote from bloggers, we not only lose information, but also lock ourselves in without progressing. Journalism has always been an open field, and I think it should remain so. Therefore, I can say that journalism does not belong to anyone, just as socially important information cannot be withheld by someone. Обновлено: Опубликовал(а): Граф Прыг-Скок Внимание!
