Juvenile delinquency

Nowadays people are getting more and more concerned about juvenile delinquency. Some people think that the main factor is communicating with wrong companies.

Personally, I believe that family environment has the biggest impact on children. To begin with, such family conflicts like parental divorce, domestic violence, corporal punishment quite often become the reason of juvenile delinquency. Moreover, experts say that most delinquents come from families, where parents are often violent and cruel. And finally, it is very difficult for children to tolerate their parent’s dependence on alcohol or drugs.

On the other hand, there are people who think that the main reason of juvenile delinquency is an influence of a wrong company.

They believe that such companies encourage teenagers to rebel and disobey their parents. Furthermore, people from such companies quite often cause the appearance of bad habits like smoking or alcoholism.

I completely disagree with them, the upbringing of children mainly depends on the attitude of the parents towards them and the behavior of their parents at home. If parents do not properly educate their children, they will stop listening to them in return.

Taking into consideration all mentioned above, children absorb everything they see and hear, so the relationships within the family it is very important for their education. Teenagers often watch their parents and try to be like them.
