Meatarians VS Vegetarians (Сочинения ЕГЭ английский язык)

Nowadays, when the question of whether meat is a necessary product in people’s nutrition or not has become a matter of strong debates(caused heated debates), most people believe that being a vegetarian is the best alternative in the modern world. Still, others claim that meat should be in everyone’s diet.

Personally, I share the second opinion and, to my mind, eating meat has many positive sights. First and foremost, there is protein in meat products which stimulates growth of muscles, body strength and energy income. What is more, in order to be full of energy people should opt for meat dishes as they are rich in calories. In addition, meat consumers get pleasure from such meals because they have delicious taste and special flavour.

However, opponents of this point of view consider that it is possible to live without meat. According to this opinion, beans, green vegetables and nuts can completely substitute meat because they are to serve as main sources of plant-based proteins.

Besides, vegetarians are against killing animals just for satisfying personal needs in meat food.

Nevertheless, these arguments do not sound reasonable enough due to the following logical assumptions. Generally, a vegetarian diet cannot cater some vital elements, which are provided only with meat, to health. Also, as far as I am concerned, the animals for meat products are kept in the agricultural farms in good conditions and killed in a painless way.

In conclusion, although opinions may differ, I strongly believe that vegetarianism is not an option for modern people. Personally, I feel weakness in my body when I do not eat meat.
