The clothes people wear influence their behavior (Ñî÷èíåíèÿ ÅÃÝ àíãëèéñêèé ÿçûê)

Clothes... There are different points of view on this matter. Some people say clothes impact on a wearer whereas others believe they only change appearance.

As far as I am concerned, clothes change behavior. To start with, outrageous clothes make people stand out from the crowd so a change in their behavior is evident. Moreover, some people wear luxurious clothes to show off their wealth so clothes have an effect on people who care about other people's opinion. In addition, formal clothes often make people wearing them think they look confident so they act like this.

In contrast, there is an opinion that clothes cannot change the way you behave as they can change the appearance of a person who wears them, but not their fundamental traits.

Then, such people also admit that many places have dress codes but it does not mean people who are wearing formal clothes must act so there.

In fact, I cannot agree with them because there are subcultures that aim at self-expression through clothes, behavior, etc. Actually, most people follow the code of conduct which involves clothes and behavior not to stand out of the crowd too much since it can cause troubles.

In conclusion, I would like to state that the way we dress changes the way we think since people who wear clothes that do not fit the description of casual often act fittingly to emphasize their individualty.
