Music and art should be studied more seriously at secondary school (Сочинения ЕГЭ английский язык)

Nowadays schools provide a numerous number of different sciences and subjects for everyone, but they cannot develop children’s potential because of many reasons. Adults are sure that educational institutions should develop creative skills of kids. Teenagers persuade them that there is no time in their curriculum to study art and music harder. In my essay I am going to analyze this debatable issue and express my own opinion.

I totally agree with grown-ups’ point of view. To begin with, playing music and drawing can help students to rest after exact sciences. Secondly, it is a good way for teenagers to express themselves, resorting to creative methods. Thirdly, studying the history of art can have a positive impact on peoples’ knowledge of the global history.

However, there is an opposite opinion.

Teenagers are firmly convinced there is a large number of subjects, that are more important than music and art.

Music lessons take a lot of time from other classes, such as math. It is meaningless and not useful for the education of students.

Nevertheless, I cannot agree with the ideas, mentioned above. To achieve the best result, children need to have a rest. Due to the lessons of music teenagers can have a chance to balance their study and entertainment. Art lessons can be a good break between complex subjects. Moreover studying art subjects, which include drama, music and visual arts, can significantly increase a child’s ability to perform that is really important in their future profession. Such skills will never be superfluous.

In conclusion, I would like to point out that music and art should definitely be studied more seriously at secondary schools. They develop students’ personalities, enrich their knowledge, broaden horizons and help to relax.
