«Science is the first thing to be financed in our world» (Ñî÷èíåíèÿ ÅÃÝ àíãëèéñêèé ÿçûê)

It is common knowledge that investments are really essential to date. Some people believe that science is the most significant thing money should be invested in, while others disagree with this point of view.

In my opinion, science is really a key area to be financed. Firstly, nowadays there are a lot of serious and even incurable diseases. So, if people really want to invent the treatment for these illnesses, they should invest in science. Secondly, scientists develop new devices which can simplify people’s life and save precious time. That is why investments in science are absolutely crucial.

However, some people advocate an opposing opinion and explain the situation differently. They say that the first thing to be financed nowadays is education because there will be no sense in investing in science if there are not any well-educated scientists.

Nevertheless, I do not share this position. To my way of thinking, the current system of education is based on using different technologies and devices which continue appearing as a result of investing in science. So, it is the most important thing for making investments.

In conclusion, although I admit that the opposing viewpoint has the right to exist, I am firmly convinced that people should finance science first of all.
