Almost every one of us has his own idol, that is, the person whom we admire and who we want to imitate. Youth idols were at all times. Basically, they became famous musicians, as well as movie actors and athletes.

The first person who officially deserved this title was Frank Sinatra, as he was very popular among teenage girls. In addition to him, in the twentieth century the idols of youth were such famous personalities as Charlie Chaplin, Marlon Brando, Elvis Presley, The Beatles, Alain Delon, Bob Dylan and Michael Jackson.

In our country in the 60s everyone loved Yuri Gagarin very much. Children, looking at him, dreamed of becoming cosmonauts and being as strong and brave as he is. It seems to me that the very fact of the appearance of such an idol is a good demonstration of the high moral ideals of Russian people.

Of course, the situation has changed in many ways over time. Our today's idols are very different from the great people of the past.

Many criticize them for their immorality and say that any person who does not even have high moral qualities and the presence of any talents can become popular and famous now, by placing video recordings on the Youtube website and actively communicating in social networks.

Perhaps this is somewhat true, since many girls today really want to live the life of secular lionesses and reality show stars, and boys dream of "cool hangouts" and "fashion cars". But after all, among the famous people there are also persons worthy of respect and imitation. For example, this is Angelina Jolie, Keanu Reeves, Charlize Theron and David Beckham. And among the figures of domestic show business, they include Konstantin Khabensky, Natalya Vodyanova and Chulpan Khamatova.

These people are kind, generous and sincere, they are actively engaged in charity and raise adopted children. I believe that there is nothing wrong with if we want to be like them, because it makes us just better.
